The flavorful beer and relaxed atmosphere make this taphouse well work the visit!
I had the the Peanut Butter Yeti. As elusive as a yeti himself, this stout will definitely pack a punch and make every taste bud in your mouth feel happy! Toasty, nutty notes on the front and smooth peanut butter finish at the end...this is an Imperial Stout you don't want to miss!

Review:

We loved sitting at the bar and visiting with others in this laid back tap house. I had the Grouse Mountain Gose, an interesting blend of coriander and blood oranges brewed with Himalayan pink sea salt and provides tart, citrusy flavor notes. Another great option is the Vanilla This Beer Really Ties the Room Together, a blond stout with a blend of vanilla, coffee & cacao nibs. This a is clean, caramelly beer and at 15 IBU's is dangerously crushable.

Review:

We loved the atmosphere of this place with very friendly beer tenders  and live music. I had the Hisolda, a sweet milk stout that is smooth, creamy and full of chocolatey, coffee flavors. This beer has a rich, not to sweet taste from start to finish. I really enjoy hazy New England IPAs, so I also had the  In the Shadows of Giants, a bright, crisp NEIPA that looks like an old school hazy but presents with a clean, full feel with tropical notes of citrus & grapefruit.

We love this place. The biergarten has a beautiful view of the Platte River trail and trees. You can even see the football stadium! I had the Furia, at 8.3 ABV, this Imperial Red IPA is a as smooth as silk. Very well balanced flavor and aroma. Enjoying this one on a warm fall afternoon overlooking the Platte River brings a peaceful end to a chaotic week. Solud Raices!

Review:
This is a relaxing, laid back place for a burger and a beer! I had the Foggy Locomotive, a hazy IPA built on a traditional NEIPA. This hazy IPA provides a fruity and citrus flavor that is well balanced and finishes extremely smooth. This beer pairs nicely with the Brewers Burger as both will definitely satisfy your thirst and hunger.

Unique qualities:

In house pizza kitchen; 12 beers on tap; Live music; Dog friendly patio

Review:

What I liked most about this place is the story behind the name - if you are a Johnny Cash fan or not you should visit this place as the symbol of the Black Shirt pays tribute to everything they do. One of the few beers that I have rated 5/5 on Untapped is Front Man, a full bodied IPA which delivers a loud and hard punch to your taste buds. A smooth, malty but fruity IPA that makes any beer lover hoppy.

For those adventurous beer drinkers out there, you should try Bonzo!, a red rye has faint flavors and aromas of pistachio and lavender. These 2 ingredients come together for a smooth, creamy, slightly nutty taste.

Review:
This is a nice place to go for lunch or dinner and we enjoyed the atmosphere, but it does feel more like a restaurant than a brewery. Food is average bar food. We loved the many selections of Blue Moon beers to try.

Unique qualities:

25 rotating taps, open Mic night every Wednesday

Review:

We loved sitting at the large bar visiting with other guests in the very social atmosphere.  If you like sours, try the flower power sour, tart... Almost puckering but after the initial front taste is done this beer is great on a hot summer day. For those IPA lovers, like me, try the space debris IPA, happy but smooth with hints of citrus that mellows the traditional IPA bitterness.

Unique qualities:

16 taps and a 10-barrel pilot brewhouse, dog friendly patio with two fire pits, rooftop sitting area, live music

Review:

We enjoyed sitting on the rooftop patio with the relaxed atmosphere in downtown - a nice place to enjoy a beer. If you like sours try the, Lime n Love, which has light lime notes and is clean and crisp. Definitely would be a slam dunk with a salted rim, lime wedge, and my toes in the water and ass in the sand. I had the Five Points Pills, clean, but malty Pills that is refreshing on the rooftop patio. $1 of each pour goes towards the u l y p fun to help young professionals succeed.

Unique qualities:

Coffee shop known as Altimeter in the morning; bagel eatery all day long   (bagel sandwiches, pizzas and pretzels), over 15 beers on tap, family fun atmosphere w/ cornhole, fire pit, live music

Review:

We enjoyed grabbing ourselves an aviation themed beer and having a seat in their fuselage for a time travel back to pampered airline customer service and satisfaction. Their Wilbur Wright's Weizenbock  is a dark, malty, banana flavored, traditional Belgium Bock that is a smooth easy drinker. I highly recommend ordering the Tennyson, from the eatery, with roast beef, cheddar, lettuce, tomato and horsey sauce which, I believe, would pair nicely with any beer on tap!

THE EMPOURIUM BREWING COMPANY

This is a modern & industrial themed brewery with full view of production room when sitting inside.

Unique qualities:

A new beer on tap the first Friday of every month, large wall mural painted by a local artist, family games available for purchase.

Review:

The brewery's attention to detail makes you feel at home, being surrounded with industrial/modern architecture.  I had the You Son of a Bitch, I'm in! which is a Zoiglbier that makes me want to have more. It is a German lager with a little 'meat' to it. Great flavor and an easy drinker. The Maiden of Mischief was also a good choic - a smooth and dangerous porter (8% ABV) that can go down quick! This brewery is one worth visiting!

Unique qualities:

Review:

I enjoyed the warm and welcoming atmosphere of this brewery - almost felt like I was in a wine cellar. I had the Do You Even Zest?!, a limited release beer that is full of the most amount of citrus notes I have had in an imperial IPA in a long time. This beer is full of citrus flavor and hoppy notes that makes you overlook the 7.5 ABV.

Review:
This brewery was a relaxing place to have a beer, but you can definitely hear the traffic on Colfax! One thing I like about this time of year is the release of all Marzen beers. This one has a smooth, caramelly mouth feel that could easily be served at a bretzelfest in Germany. Prost Seedstock.

We really enjoyed sipping on our beer in this very small, local hangout where guests were visiting at the bar and playing board games while enjoying their beer.
