Colorado Springs is home to the Air Force Academy, the US Olympic & Paralympic Training Center, Pikes Peak Cog Railway, Garden of the Gods, Manitou cliff dwellings, the Broadmoor Hotel and the Broadmoor seven falls. It is an amazingly beautiful area with many places to hike and camping close by. When you visit Colorado Springs, it is well worth....
- Taking a ride on the Pikes Peak cog railway. The cog railway, which has been in operation since 1891 and is the world's highest cog railroad, is one of the most unique experiences in the country. Enjoy the beautiful scenery on this 3.5 hour ride up and down the mountain.
- Taking a tour of the US Olympic & Paralympic Training Center, which is home to sport facilities and support services for Olympic, Paralympic, Pan American and Parapan American sports.
- Going to a football game at the Airforce Academy and experience the pride, energy and beauty of the stadium.
- Hiking through the Garden of the Gods, a breathtaking National Natural Landmark with dramatic views of sandstone rock formations and the snow-capped Pikes Peak.
- Exploring the Manitou Cliff Dwellings, and learn about the fascinating architecture of the ancient cliff dwellers.
- Hiking the Broadmoor Seven Falls, a one of a kind, challenging hike situated in a 1,250-foot-wall box canyon between the towering Pillars of Hercules with stunning views of valleys, rock formations, golden prairies and glistening streams that feed the falls.

One of the fun things about the breweries in Colorado Springs is the variety and unique atmosphere of each brewery...there are breweries located in old elementary schools and churches, breweries that honor our service people or scientists, breweries located in 100 year old buildings with interesting history...and they each have unique beers to taste.

Located a bit west of downtown Colorado Springs, Joshua Adamski and Mark LeFebvr opened Cerberus Brewing in 2016.
This brewpub, with a modern industrial vibe, has 24 taps and serves cocktails and wine in addition to their amazing beers. Their BBQ menu is mouth watering. You can enjoy your lunch and beer at the bar, at a table inside or on the biergarten.
Phantom Canyon Brewing Company

Phantom Canyon Brewing is Colorado Spring's oldest brewery which opened in 1993. Named after the scenic phantom canyon, Phantom Canyon Brewing is located in the historic Cheyenne Building, built in 1901 and named after Cheyenne Mountain and Chief Two Moons of the Cheyenne Indian Tribe.
This large brewery and restaurant is bright and open with seating inside and out. They serve beer, cocktails and have a full menu of good and interesting food. Enjoy a game of pool or darts while you have a beer in the historic building. If you prefer, enjoy the beautiful Colorado weather on the rooftop patio.
Bell Brothers Brewing

From Phantom Canyon Brewing, drive (or walk) north one block on S. Cascade Ave to E. Kiowa Street and go east one block to Bell Brothers Brewing.
Owners Curtis and Cody Bell, both trained engineers, opened Bell Brothers Brewing in 2022. They celebrate scientists with pictures of famous scientists on the bar and table tops.
This bright & open brewery and tap room has an 'urban loft' décor and 12 beers (& cider, seltzer, mead) on tap, as well as wine & cocktails. They even make special beer cocktails. You can order from a small menu, including paninis or a charcuterie board or order from Bingo Burger.
Oskar Blues Grill & Brew

Right next door, to the north of Bell Brothers Brewing is Oskar Blues Grill & Brew.
Oskar Blues began as a brewpub in Lyons, Colorado in 2002. Purchased by Monster Beverage Purchase Of CANarchy Craft Brewery Collective in 2022, Oskar Blues Brewery currently has locations in Longmont, Colorado, Brevard, North Carolina, and Austin, Texas. The headquarters is currently located in Longmont, Colorado. Fun fact, Dale Katechis, founder of Oscar blues brewery was the first craft brewery in the country to put craft beer exclusively in a can.
The Colorado Springs location has 8 Oskar Blues beers on tap, in addition to a variety of other craft beer choices, wine and cocktails. This large tap house with two floors has an industrial décor with brick and wood walls, a large bar, and open concept seating. You can see into the kitchen to watch the chefs cook, watch a game on a TV, visit at the bar, enjoy the fresh air on the patio or listen to live music. They also have a full food menu. Come for the beer and enjoy the live music and other events like trivia.
Brass Brewing Company

From Oskar Brewing, drive east two blocks to N. Weber Street, go south two block to Colorado Ave, turn east and there you are at Brass Brewing.
A veteran owned craft brewery that opened in 2018, Brass Brewing Company is located in downtown Colorado Springs. Owners Wayne (Woody) and Kellee Briggs, Ohio State and West Point graduates respectively, served in the U.S. Army.
This smaller brewery and tap house honors those who served with pictures and memorabilia all over the walls. They have 12 beers on tap, a shuffleboard game and nice wooden bar. It is a relaxing place to have a beer.
Mash Mechanix Brewing Co

Mash Mechanix Brewing is located one block east and one block north of Brass Brewing on Pikes Peak Ave.
Mash Mechanix Brewing, co-owned by Ryan Close and Leif Anderson and co-founder Kevin Olsen, opened in 2021. The craft brewery is housed in a building that was constructed back in 1906 and was previously home to a church, a tattoo parlor and a scooter shop.
This smaller brewery and taphouse has an industrial feel with brick walls, exposed vents, and black metal chairs. There is plenty of seating inside and a patio out back. They serve a few snacks, but they also have a food truck parked next door provides choices for lunch or dinner. Come in for a beer in the evening on a weekend and enjoy the live music.
Local Relic

Finish your Colorado Springs brewery hop at Local Relic with a unique beer and a creative dinner. Local Relic is located south of Brass Brewing on N. Weber Street about 3 blocks.
Local Relic is a small batch brewery located in The Carter Payne, a shared space which includes the brewery, Immerse restaurant, Bespoke Araucania Cocktails and Crusade wine bar. The building was built in 1897 as The Payne Chapel AME Church, which was the first African American church in Colorado springs. The beautiful church was outgrown by the church community which moved to a larger location. The Carter Payne opened in 2016. Local Relic brews about 200 unique beers per year, continually creating new recipes.
Seven breweries in an afternoon, is probably enough, however, there are a few other breweries very close by that are worth a visit or another brewery hop!
